Membership

Any data link user, customer, manager, policy maker, technical advisor, support agent or supplier are eligible for membership of the Society.

Advantages of Individual Membership include:

Associate and Honorary Members

Associate and Honorary membership shall be admissible in accordance with the Bylaws of the Society.

Subscription Fees

The current individual one year subscription fee is US$75.00. Renewals are discounted to US$60.00 if the member is in their grace period (see below).

Grace Period Discount

Members who renew their membership within the first two months of it expiring will be entitled to a US$15.00 grace period discount on the yearly fee. After these two months, the full US$75.00 fee will be required. Please remember you cannot renew your membership until you are in the Grace Period.

How do I apply for membership?

All individuals currently or previously involved in the data links community can make an online application to join the Society. This involves a simple two step process:

1. Apply online with your personal details and society staff will vet your application for eligibility.
2. If approved, you will be sent an ID to login to the website and purchase an individual subscription using a card or pre-issued group code.

Once payment has been made, your one year IDLSoc membership begins and you will gain access to all member benefits.

How do I renew an existing membership?

If your membership is in grace:

1. Login to your account.
2. On the Member Dashboard under 'My Notices', you should see a red notice indicating you that your membership is in grace.
3. Click the 'renew' link in this notice to begin renewal of your membership.

If your membership has expired:

1. Login to your account.
2. You will be redirected to the renewal process. You cannot access any IDLSoc member functions until your membership has been renewed.
